Raiders of Scythia

Many centuries ago, the Greek, Persian and Assyrian empires controlled vast lands and riches. Yet despite their fortifications and imposing armies, rumours began to spread of a fearsome enemy from the lands north of the Black Sea. They came on horseback. Fierce warriors, both men and women. Skilled with sword, axe and bow. But they were no mindless savages. Their craftsmen were renowned for their ability to work intricate gold ornaments. They fashioned leather armour and perfected the composite bow. They trained eagles for hunting and for war. Some even believe they inspired the Greek tales of the Amazons. But they were more than legend or tale. They were the Raiders of Scythia.
The goal of Raiders of Scythia is to be the player with the most victory points (VP) at the end of the game. VP are earned by raiding settlements, taking plunder and completing quests. Players will need to gather a crew, train animals and acquire provisions. The game ends once only 2 unraided settlements or 2 quests remain on the main board.
