Aquatica is a strategic engine-building game that offers plenty of depth while remaining easy to pick up and suitable for the whole family.

In the game you take on the role of one of the mighty rulers of the ocean, striving to bring glory to your underwater kingdom. To win you must conquer and acquire new territories, attract new heroes and complete various objectives. Each of these achievements earns you victory points at the end of the game.

To do so, you’ll play cards from your hand, each with its own unique set of actions that you can combine in a variety of ways. And make no mistake — although the rules are easy to learn, a well-planned turn can let you carry out up to ten consecutive actions.

Throughout the adventure you’ll encounter many mysterious sea creatures that you’ll draw to your side. With their help you’ll explore unknown locations and raise the riches you discover from the ocean depths up to your kingdom. This is realised through three-layer player boards and the unique mechanic of gradually “raising” the cards.
